In Unreal State, summer begins when reality slips. A woman moves through rooms, rivers and gardens that seem to recognise her. Her clothes are light yet grounded, opening around the body through transparencies, cut-outs and buttons that become secret passages. Vibrant colours appear like signs. Inspired by Deborah Levy's "Unreal Estate", the collection imagines clothing as a way of entering a freer, stranger reality.  In other words, Summer.
